Ambassador Moore at Lunch with the Ron Brown Fellowship Program Alumni
On May 27, 2008 the Montenegrin Ron Brown Alumni Dijana Celik, Milica Vukotic, Goran Vujovic, Biljana Scekic, Srna Sudar Vilotic, Nikola Perovic, Ivan Cakarevic (Serbian Alumna), Radoslav Ralevic, Valentina Scekic and Ivana Tomasevic invited Ambassador Moore to lunch. They were able to tell the Ambassador about their experience in the U.S. and what are they doing today. These dynamic young people have jobs and are contributing to the development of the Montenegrin society.
The Ron Brown Fellowship Program run from 1999 to 2005 and brought 21 Montenegrin to the United States. They were placed at universities throughout the country, from New York, Boston, New Orleans to Hawaii and others places.
The Fellowship was named after the late U.S. Secretary of Commerce who died in a plane crash close to the Dubrovnik Airport on April 3, 1996.
