Ambassador meets with Law Students in Bijelo Polje and Local Residents in Berane
On May 8, Ambassador Moore, CONS/POL officer Gina Werth, and Political Assistant Zlatko Ivanovic met with the mayor of Bijelo Polje. As the first guest speaker at the University of Montenegro Law School in Bijelo Polje, he discussed issues like the rule of law, accountability and corruption with University of Montenegro law students. Ambassador Moore’s discussion was followed by lunch with a group of northern agricultural producers at a local fishing lodge which received financial assistance from the U.S. Government. Ambassador Moore then visited Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery outside Berane.
