U.S. Helps Renovate Basic Court in Berane

U.S. Consulate Podgorica's Principal Officer Arlene Ferrill will officially open the renovated building of the Basic Court of Berane on December 12. Ratko Vukotic, President of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, Robert Underwood, Chief of Party of Checchi and Company Consulting Inc., and Dragan Dasic, President of the Basic Court in Berane, will also participate in the opening ceremony.
The renovation of the Basic Court in Berane is part of the Montenegro Judicial Reform Project (MJRP) funded by the American people through USAID and implemented by Checchi and Company Consulting Inc. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invested $203,386 into the project, which included the furnishing and equipping the Court.
Media interested in attending the event should be at the Basic Court of Berane, at Mojsije Zecevic Street bb, no later than 11:45 on Monday, December 12.
