Public Affairs Officer Alexander Titolo
Alexander Titolo is currently assigned as the Public Affairs Officer to the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing exchange and cultural programs, outreach to the broader Montenegrin community, and press relations.
Mr. Titolo joined the State Department in 2002. His first post was Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (where he met his wife). His second post was Vilnius, Lithuania, where he worked in the Political Section, focusing mainly on political military affairs and Lithuania's efforts to promote democracy in Belarus, and in the Consular Section.
Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Mr. Titolo worked for the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) during 2000 and 2001 on a USAID-funded program to strengthen independent media in the Balkans. He completed his BA in International Studies from American University in 1998.
