United States Supports Civic Education in Montenegro

On Friday, April 14, U.S. Consulate Podgorica's Principal Officer Arlene Ferrill will open the final round of the Montenegrin school competition "Project Citizen." Director of the Montenegrin Bureau for Educational Services Dragan Bogojevic, Operation Team member Professor Radovan Radonjic, and a representative of the Ministry of Education will also participate in the opening ceremonies.
Approximately 2,200 students participated in competitions at the school, municipal, and regional level preceding the upcoming Final Competition. The four schools that qualified for the final round of competition in Montenegro include Bar, Plav, Pljevlja, and Pluzine. Each school will present problems identified in their communities and will propose ways to resolve them.
Journalists interested in covering the event should be at the amphitheater of the University of Montenegro in Podgorica no later than 10:45 on Friday, April 14.
