U.S. Consulate to Participate in Earth Day Cleanup Events in Budva and Kotor

On the occasion of Earth Day 2006, U.S. Consulate Podgorica's Principal Officer Arlene Ferrill and other staff will participate in the cleaning of "Slovenska Plaza" beach in Budva and the City Park in Kotor in cooperation with the "Morsko Dobro" and the municipalities of Budva and Kotor on April 20. Mayor of Budva Rajko Kuljaca and Mayor of Kotor Marija Catovic, as well as Director of "Morsko Dobro" Rajko Barovic will also participate in the events.
The goal of the event is to focus attention on Earth Day, the importance of civic responsibility for the environment and for achieving Montenegro’s aspirations to be an "Ecological State."
