United States Organizes Regional Private Sector Competitiveness Conference in Montenegro

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Economic Growth Office will organize its third regional private sector competitiveness conference in Przno, Montenegro, on May 20 - 22.  U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Roderick W. Moore, Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazovic, and Deputy Assistant Administrator of USAID Europe and Eurasia Bureau Thomas Mefford will open the conference.   

The conference will bring regional stakeholders from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus to Montenegro to share best practices in tourism, agribusiness, business service delivery, and e-solutions that enhance private sector competitiveness, as well as highlight investment opportunities in the region, especially in Montenegro.  
 
Journalists interested in covering the opening of the conference should be at the Hotel Maestral in Przno no later than 08:45 on Tuesday, May 20. Participating experts will be also available for journalists' individual interview requests on the issues related to the regional competitiveness accomplishments.
