Embassy Organizes Earth Day Art Competition
Earth Day Art Competition
On April 22, the U.S. Embassy invited 30 school children from Sampar Makarije Public School, QSI International School Podgorica and Embassy staff's children to participate in an Earth Day art competition. A representative from Ekoplant gave the children an informal lecture regarding the importance that plants and trees play on the environment and helped all participants plant flowers on Embassy grounds. The winners of the art competition planted a tree with the Ambassador as well as getting an exclusive interview and a photo opportunity in The Montenegro Times.
