U.S. Promotes Student Exchange Program

On November 12, U.S. Embassy PAO Judith Jones will introduce FORECAST, the undergraduate student exchange program 2008-2009 at the American Corner, KIC "Budo Tomovic" in Podgorica. Last year, nine students were selected for full scholarships and they are currently attending various US universities during this academic year. Dr. Jones will use this opportunity to discuss the wider range of academic exchanges and work study programs available to students in Montenegro.

The FORECAST Exchange Program (Focus on Results: Enhancing Capacity Across Sectors in Transition) is implemented by the U.S. NGO "World Learning" in cooperation with the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica. It is funded by the American people. The implementers, Mary Frances Doyle and Snjezana Mijatovic, will present details of the program.

Ms Doyle and Ms Mijatovic will also present this program to the Economic Faculty in Podgorica at 1200 on Monday, November 12; to the English Language Faculty in Niksic at 1300 on Tuesday, November 13; to the Arts Faculty in Cetinje at 1700 on Tuesday, November 13; to the Engineering Faculty in Podgorica at 1200 on Wednesday, November 14, and to the Hotel Management and Tourism Faculty in Kotor at 1600 on Wednesday, November 14.
