Grant opportunities for anti-trafficking initiatives

GTIP is pleased to announce publication of its open competition for assistance awards to improve the response to human trafficking abroad.  G/TIP's 2009 Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on www.grants.gov and on G/TIP's website

U.S.-based NGOs, public international organizations (PIOs), foreign
NGOs, and universities are encouraged to submit proposals for anti-trafficking programs to be conducted in a single country abroad, within a region, or in more than one region.  Pending the appropriation of funds, G/TIP anticipates having approximately $17 million available to award multiple grants and cooperative agreements of up to $500,000 for up to 36 months.

Thus, U.S. organizations should submit proposals via www.grants.gov
while PIOs and foreign NGOs are encouraged to submit proposals
to www.grants.gov, but may submit via email to GTIP2009Proposals@state.gov.

Questions about this solicitation should be directed to GTIP2009Proposals@state.gov.
