Marcus Micheli, Political and Economic Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, George Levitsky, EXBS Program Manager for Serbia, BiH and Montenegro, and Zoran Radusinovic, Director of the Department for Prevention of Smuggling in the Customs of Montenegro, spoke at the opening of International Sea Interdiction Training in Bar on March 23.  The training, organized by the EXBS program and provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (Customs and Border Protection), is designed to assist Customs and Border Police officers search for illegal goods on vessels.  It provides a broad spectrum of activities that comprise comprehensive the analysis, searches and interdiction of contraband in seaport operations.  The training, which runs until March 27, is being attended by officers from Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
