On Wednesday March 5, U.S. Ambassador Roderick W. Moore will officially deliver 10 lap top computers and one tablet computer donated by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through ORT Montenegro to the School of Journalism at the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica.  Ambassador Moore and the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science, Srdjan Darmanovic, will speak at the donation ceremony.

Students of the Journalism School are the direct beneficiaries of the donation and will aid them in their studies, research, and training as future journalist in Montenegro.  This donation will also allow professors and other academic staff to improve their teaching methods.   The project is part of the ORT Montenegro Advocacy Program (MAP) whose aim is to develop the capacity of the Montenegrin civil sector and strengthen the professional standards of Montenegrin media.

Media interested in covering the event should be at the Faculty of Political Science in Podgorica at 10:15, on Wednesday March 5.
