Basketball Diplomacy
August 8, 2008.  Join Sead Dizdarevic, Coach Henry and four former players from the Georgetown basketball team: Ashanti Cook, Darrel Owens, Amadou Kilkenny-Diaw, and Ramel Ross. Together they trained participants in the basics of basketball, and discussed the exciting opportunities for education that sports can bring to young people.

A-SMYLE PROGRAM
July 2008.  Meet Dejana Adzic, A-SMYLE participant 2006/2007. A-SMYLE is a program of the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and US Embassy Podgorica administered by American Councils for International Education. All participants live with American host families throughout the United States and attend American high schools.

July 2, 2008.  First ever U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro, Roderick W. Moore, hosted a reception, to celebrate the 232nd anniversary of the United States' Declaration of Independence. Ambassador Moore addressed the guests highlighting a long lasting friendship and partnership between the two states and their citizens.

June 2, 2008.  USAID Officer-in-Charge Joe Taggart was interviewed by TVCG. OIC Taggart spoke about the Embassy's new program, worth more than 10 million euros, to support small and medium size businesses in the north of Montenegro. The program is expected to start in October this year and will be implemented in the next two to five years.

May 8, 2008.  Ambassador Moore, was invited as the first guest speaker at the University of Montenegro Law School in Bijelo Polje, he discussed issues like the rule of law, accountability and corruption with University of Montenegro law students.

Visit to Mount Bjelasica
April 26, 2008. On April 26, 2008 Montenegro's Minister of Tourism Predrag Nenezic invited Ambassador Moore to visit the ski center in Mount Bjelasica and discover one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Montenegro.
