U.S. Embassy Supports Regional Youth Alumni Conference

Montenegrin American Youth Alumni Association (MAYAA), with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro, organized a youth alumni conference which gathered 20 alumni of the A-SMYLE and YES U.S. high school exchange programs from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia in Podgorica September 22 – 25, 2012.  On September 24, Public Affairs Officer Shelly Seaver talked about U.S. funding possibilities to the participants of the “Mission Common Goal” Regional Alumni Conference. The aim of the conference is to encourage regional alumni cooperation and support alumni in promoting multiculturalism and multi-country programming.
