Ambassador Moore in Mojkovac
Ambassador Moore traveled to the north of Montenegro on March 2, calling on the mayor of Mojkovac and visiting an ongoing USAID-funded project, which is reconstructing the local green market designed to increase selling opportunities for local agriculture producers. In support of the U.S. Embassy's new assistance initiative designed to build on previous work in the economic sector and particularly to encourage economic development in the northern part of Montenegro, Ambassador Moore discussed entrepreneurship and toured the factory of one successful local businessman whose tea factory, "Flores" tea, is currently exporting essential oils and packaged tea to half a dozen foreign markets. The Ambassador also met with local citizens and toured the Dobrilovina Monastery.
