Ambassador Moore's Interview Aired On Montenegro's Most Popular TV Talk Show

On November 16, Ambassador Roderick W. Moore appeared on the prime time talk show program "Ziva Istina" ("Live Truth"), which is aired by the Podgorica private television station IN. The program is the highest rated TV talk show in Montenegro. During an 80-minute interview conducted entirely in the Montenegrin language, Ambassador Moore discussed various topics, including the United States' intensive military cooperation with Montenegro, the need to attract more U.S. investors, and Montenegro's main foreign policy and domestic challenges. The Ambassador also discussed broader regional developments, including the status of negotiations on Kosovo. The Ambassador noted that the Embassy's top priorities will include assisting Montenegro in bridging the development gap between northern and southern regions, strengthening the rule of law, and developing exchange programs between the U.S. and Montenegro.
