U.S. Establishes Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro 

On November 19, U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Roderick W. Moore will host a celebration of the official launch of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham) at his residence at Mareza in Podgorica. 

 Affiliated with the network of AmChams around the world, AmCham Montenegro aims to be a leading advocate for business in Montenegro.  AmCham is dedicated to promoting mutual cooperation and friendship between Montenegro and the United States through trade, investment and economic development.  AmCham strives to advance American commercial interests, as well as interests of international, local and other forward-looking companies that stand for responsible corporate citizenship and share its values.

 Media outlets interested in covering this event should fax a list of their journalists, cameramen, and photo-reporters, including all equipment, signed by their editor-in-chief, to 020 225 515.  Accreditation requests should arrive no later than 15:00 on Tuesday November 18.  The accredited media should be at the Ambassador's residence at 17:15 on November 19 for a brief press conference with AmCham Board members and the Ambassador which will be followed by the official event.
