On July 11, U.S. Embassy Political Officer John Cooney and Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Branko Bulatovic spoke at the press conference announcing assistance to Montenegrin veterinarians to support the growth and productivity of dairy herds within the Economic Growth Project's Dairy Improvement Program. At the occasion, Mr. Cooney and Mr. Bulatovic also distributed the modern artificial insemination equipment to veterinarians from across the country.

The Dairy Improvement Program is made possible by the support of the American people, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by CHF International. The Economic Growth Project is a 33-month, $5.25 million dollar initiative designed to increase economic opportunity in northern Montenegro.
