U.S. State Department's Assistance Coordinator in Montenegro

The U.S. State Department's Assistance Coordinator for Montenegro, Serbia and Albania, Salvatore Amodeo, is visiting Montenegro from October 22 to 24. During the visit, Mr. Amodeo will talk with officials involved in U.S. assistance implementation and look at various projects here supported by the U.S. Government over the last ten years. On October 23, U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Roderick W. Moore and Mr. Amodeo will visit some projects in the municipalities of Danilovgrad and Pluzine and meet with the mayors of these towns.
The U.S. officials will specifically visit the facility of the tourism organization in Pluzine whose construction was funded through the USAID Community Revitalization through Democratic Action - Economy (CRDA-E) program. In Danilovgrad, they will tour the police training academy where U.S. experts work with Montenegrin law enforcement personnel.
Journalists interested in covering the Pluzine event should be in front of the tourism organization in Pluzine no later than 11:15 on Tuesday, October 23. The officials will be available for the journalists' questions regarding U.S. assistance projects that have been carried out so far and for the future assistance plans in Montenegro.
